Co-operative Education


Co-operative education assists students in university or college and students entering the workplace in making career decisions, as well as in developing knowledge, skills, and attitudes essential in today’s environment. Claims Examiner - Bodily Injury

FMRP is currently seeking a Reinsurance Claims Examiner for our Head Office in Cambridge, Ontario.  A valued part of our Claims team, this intermediate position will provide specialized claim services to Member Companies that are located across Canada.

 

Report Administrator - Loss Control Services

FMRP is seeking a Report Administrator within our Loss Control Services Department. The Report Administrator is responsible for the compilation, preparation and administration of loss control files for the Risk Assessment Coordinator. In addition the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of secretarial and/or administrative services and for performing specific functional administrative duties for Loss Control Services. As well, the Report Administrator will assist with the scheduling of appointments for the field staff.

 

Underwriter - Automobile

FMRP is currently seeking an Underwriter focused on automobile for our office in Cambridge, Ontario.  A valued part of our Underwriting team, this intermediate level position serves as an entrance into the area of reinsurance underwriting, acting as a technical resource to the Member Companies located throughout Ontario.

 

Information Systems Infrastructure (Co-op/Internship)

FMRP is currently seeking an Information Systems Infrastructure co-op student or intern for the Spring 2012 work term. This student will support personal computer hardware and applications, provide help desk support for computer related problems and assist with website maintenance and enhancement.

 

Underwriting Assistant (Co-op/Internship)

FMRP is currently seeking a student or recent graduate for an Underwriting Assistant position for the Spring 2012 work term. This position would be ideal for students interested in a future in the insurance industry. Students interested in this position should currently be enrolled in an insurance diploma/certificate program or progressing towards the CIP designation. The student will gain insurance experience in the field by working a short placement with one of the Ontario Mutual Insurance Companies.
