Claims Examiner - Accident Benefits

This role is responsible for the examination of Automobile Accident Benefit claims at a reinsurance level.  The Examiner will scrutinize files within a given level of authority/guidelines to assist in the exposure recognition and development of settlement strategies to facilitate claims resolution. 

 

Report Analyst

The Report Analyst is responsible for the compilation, preparation and administration of loss control files for the Risk Assessment Coordinator. In addition the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of secretarial and/or administrative services for the Loss Control Services Manager, and for performing specific functional administrative duties for the Loss Control department. Key functions of this role will be the transfer of data between databases as well as the analysis and preparation of risk assessment reports.

 

Risk Assessment Specialist

The Risk Assessment Specialist is responsible for a range of responsibilities including the performance of risk assessments of farm, residential and commercial properties, and for developing the accompanying reports based on the findings. The report includes items such as a thermal imaging report, site diagrams, a risk assessment section that highlights structural components and building detail followed by the development of risk management recommendations.

 

Junior Risk Assessment Specialist

The Junior Risk Assessment Specialist is responsible for a range of responsibilities including the performance of risk assessments of farm, and residential properties, and for developing the accompanying reports based on the findings. The report includes items such as a thermal imaging report, site diagrams, a risk assessment section that highlights structural components and building detail followed by the development of risk management recommendations. The position reports to the Cambridge office. There will be a requirement for travel on a regular basis, to conduct risk assessments on properties as assigned.

 

Claims Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Claims Manager for Canada. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the Claims Manager is responsible for managing 23 claims representatives and support staff and for overseeing the operation of the Claims Department, including five product lines of insurance. The ability to manage, lead, develop and coach staff is essential; in addition, the successful candidate will foster a positive working relationship with other department managers and executives.
